What does IT-Grundschutz mean?
IT-Grundschutz is a methodology developed by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) that goes beyond the international ISO/IEC 27001 standard. It offers a holistic approach to information security, considering technical, organizational, personnel, and infrastructural aspects equally.
For our customers, this certification means that SECURITYSQUAD demonstrably adheres to the highest security standards. Our information domain—including all systems, processes, and Managed Services—has been audited and confirmed by independent, certified auditors.
Audited security
The audit was conducted in accordance with the BSI certification scheme. It confirms that we fully implement all necessary security measures (BSI Standards 200-2) and the control objectives from Annex A of ISO/IEC 27001.
What our certifications mean for you
Certifications are not an end in themselves. For you as a client they mean dependable security instead of mere promises: you work with a partner whose processes are independently audited – a tangible advantage in tenders, supply-chain requirements and evidence towards regulators and insurers.
- Demonstrable security for audits, tenders and supply chains – for example in the context of NIS2 and KRITIS.
- A partner who knows the requirements because it meets them itself.
- Vendor-neutral advice without conflicts of interest – we recommend what fits you.
Member of the Alliance for Cyber Security
As a participant in the Alliance for Cyber Security initiated by the BSI, we continuously exchange knowledge on the current threat landscape and proven practices. That knowledge flows directly into your projects – from risk assessment to concrete measures.
